Economist graduated from Universidad Panamericana, with a postgraduate degree on Financial Risks Administration by the CIDE and the Universidad Panamericana. An MBA by Université du Québec à Montréal with specialization in Financial Services by the same Institution. He has been in the financial world since 1998, beginning his career at Nacional Financiera as an intern, later he joined Banamex, where he culminated in position of Vicepresident at Citi Private Bank for Mexico. In 2013 he joined UBS as Executive Director for the Ultra High segment of Wealth Management for Mexican clients. He has several years of experience on the Multifamily Office platforms.
He received wide recognition with several awards at the institutions he worked for, one of them is the “Wealth Management Diploma” granted by the Swiss authority AHS Excellence Circle from Citigroup and several awards for performance.
With several years of experience as Family Officer, he is cofounder partner of Newport Multifamily.
He has 25 years of experience in financial markets, highly qualified on asset and risk management. He has directed several teams to achieve the implementation of strategies on investment portfolios, as to minimize the risks associated with them.
Served as Managing Director at UBS and Citi Banamex in charge of Investments, Banca Privada and Risks. In 2006 he designed the process of certification for risk managers at the Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bursátiles (AMIB), at CDMX.
Graduated from the Universidad Anáhuac with a master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
Banker with more than 28 years of experience working for global Financial Institutions as Executive Director at Citi, HSBC Mexico, HSBC NY and Scotiabank in the area of financial markets. He built his experience in the foreign exchange and derivatives market, leading and developing trading desks, positioning them in the first places.
He is currently responsible for Alternative Investments for the group, focused on their origination, structuring, and administration. He is an Industrial Engineer, graduated with honors, graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has postgraduate studies such as a diploma in financial derivatives from ITAM, Private Equity and Venture Capital from Università Bocconi, ESG (Sustainability) from Wharton and an Investment Management course from Harvard.
He was a member of the Mexican Exchange Market Committee of the Bank of Mexico. He is a member of the Technical Finance Council at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He is part of the council of some private companies in Mexico.
She has a degree in International Business Administration from the Universidad de Las Américas Puebla with an MBA specialized in Financial Risk Management from the London School of Business and Finance.
She has more than twenty years of work experience in risk management, wealth and private banking, stock credit, investment strategy, portfolio management, financial product development, corporate strategy, education and financial inclusion and regulatory compliance in financial institutions such as They are the Mexican Stock Exchange, BBVA Bancomer, Scotia Casa de Bolsa, Sura Inversiones and Banco del Bienestar.
Additionally, Paola has eight years of teaching experience in public and private universities for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business, Economics, Administration and Finance (UNAM, Universidad Anáhuac and TEC de Monterrey). In 2022 he joins the Newport Capital team, occupying the position of adviser.
He has a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, and has a diploma in Challenges of the European Union: the new context of unity and diversity from the University of Lodz in Poland.
He developed as Administrator of a Security company with more than 300 workers, leading a team of 8 people. In 2024 he joined the Newport Capital team performing the role of Analyst and Service Officer.
He studied Industrial Engineering at the Anáhuac University. He has managed to increase and enrich his knowledge within the financial sector by obtaining the Investment Strategies Advisor certification (Figure 3) by the Mexican Association of Stock Market Institutions (AMIB).
He developed as a Broker Jr in an important real estate services company such as CBRE in the Advisory & Transactions area. In 2024 he joined the Newport Capital team performing the role of Analyst and Service Officer.
